About Susan Comer Fisher
Susan Fisher started her musical career at three years old performing with her friends in her Grandmother's living room. Luckily her mother saw her passion and signed her up for music, dance, and theater classes. She went on to pursue her passion for the arts as a member of both the Opera and Musical Theater programs at Northwestern University in Chicago where she studied voice with Sunny Joy Langton. More information can be found about Susan's work experience and graduate studies by checking out her Resume. Since discovering the magic of the arts as a child, Susan has worked to share this with others by developing engaging classes, programs, and curriculum. In her classes children are free to create, explore, collaborate, and express their own unique voices. Over time, Susan has developed an unusual combination of training in music, dance, and drama paired with child development, literacy, and special education that enables her to fully meet the needs of every child. Susan also enjoys finding new ways to grow as an artist and educator. Presently, she is excited to develop more opportunities for the very young and for students with disabilities to engage in drama and music in the Raleigh Area. Besides teaching, Susan enjoys hiking with her husband and having dance parties with her two young girls. |
